Hannah Varghese

President

Hello Key Clubbers! My name is Hannah Varghese, and I am your 2014-2015 Key Club President. Being apart of Key Club these past 2 years have made me grow as a person, and appreciate the world around me. After going to DCON, it really opened my eyes to see that Key Club is such a wonderful organization, and that I am apart of something even greater than I could have ever imagined. The impact we can make on other people's lives goes near and far. By being president, I hope I can inspire you to see the importance of serving others unconditionally while growing together as leaders and as friends. I am so honored to be serving my school and community with such a high position, and I look forward to making this year a memorable one for you. Go Key Club!

Jeanne Bandelaria

Vice President

Hi guys! I’m Jeanne Bandelaria (its French don’t worry if you don’t know how to pronounce it :P) and I am your 2014-2015 AHS Key Club Vice President! All of my life I grew up learning to strive to be happy and what better way to do this than to help others accomplish this as well? :) As vice president, I hope to assist our club, the board, and its members in any way possible, whether it is by planning service opportunities, organizing events, or simply by helping you Key Clubbers feel welcome (for this reason, please don’t hesitate to ask me questions)! Key Club is the perfect way to reach out to others, especially the less fortunate, in our community and will also help us become better individuals. I know we will have tons of fun this year and I can’t wait to serve with you all!

Lajja Shah

Secretary

I’m the Secretary of our Key Club, and my job is to manage the points that we get through our various activities. My main objective as a secretary is to get our club to become part of the Top 25 clubs in the Texas-Oklahoma district of Key Clubs, and maybe even be part of the Top 10! Wouldn’t that be cool? Besides working with key club, I like to keep myself busy by reading yahoo article comments when I'm supposed to be doing my biology IA. I love seeing everybody's faces every first two weeks of the month and I'm very proud of our large numbers. If you see me in the hall, don't be afraid to shout a hello!

Anh-Thu Pham

Editor

Hey, fellow Key Club members! The name is Anh-Thu Pham, and I am your 2014-2015 Editor. Being that this would be my third year in Key Club, I am as suited as any to contribute the best of my abilities to help make your Key Club experience awesome. I am also in other clubs in school, so you see might see me somewhere the crowd; come and say hey sometime. There are many complexities in this world, but in service it is simple yet powerful, for in cooperation between this club's members, we are able to be a might that makes differences that impacts those that surround us. I believe that with service we can expand our horizon with interactions that manage to improve some gloomy aspects of life, and feeds our humanity in connecting with other souls of this Earth. One of my goal this year is to better the communication and connection in our club this year. By being a board member, I do not wish to be a distant and vague anitity who you sporadically see at weekly meetings. I hope that by being a board member, I can facilitate you through your Key Club experience. Besides the monthly newsletter now published on ISSUU.com, something new that I am bringing this year, are monthly vlogs. They are a nice addition to the pre existing social medias to update you guys on the latest goings of the club. I like books, sleep, and food, but if none of the above is to your liking then still feel free to approach me and talk about stuff. Let's have a dandy year of service together!

Umme Samiha

Chief of Staff

Hey KC peeps! My name is Umme Samiha and I'm your 2014-2015 Chief of Staff. Basically my job description includes overseeing the website and helping my fellow board members out as much as I can. Other than KC, some things I do outside of school includes dance, playing the violin occasionally (even though my playing is horrid), and of course sleeping! This is going to be my fourth year as a key clubber and it's honestly been such an amazing journey. I've taken a part of multiple service clubs over the years but Key Club has by far been my favorite! We're trying to make this year amazingly fun (and yes service can be "amazingly fun") and I can't wait for the year to come!
